In questions where answer options have conditional logic, the Survey Editor allows you to show an answer option(s) all the time. For example, if you are showing answer options based on the responses to a previous question in the survey (for instructions on how to do this, click here), you may want one or more of the options to show whether they were selected or not.
1: Adding Conditional Logic
To make an answer option always show in a question that contains conditional logic, click the row, column or choice so the options appear in the right panel. Then select "Show if" and click "+ new condition":
The logic conditions window will appear. At the bottom of the window, click "show raw code". Then enter "1" (without the quotation marks) in the text field and save the changes:
If QA codes are turned on, the new condition tag will appear for the answer option:
2: Testing Conditions
To test this, select "Test Survey" in the Actions menu and locate the first question in the series. Leave the answer options unchecked and continue:
In the next question, the answer option should appear, as shown below, even though it was not selected in the previous question:
